Are You Trapped and Stretched by the American Dream?

I married young. Graduated high school at age 17, went straight to junior college for a year, then married a man I barely knew.

We met on a blind date and spent 2 intense days together. He a Marine stationed in Southern California, and me, finishing college in Northern California.

That might have been the end of itbut it was not. Our relationship improved rapidly from the day we met in August, to our participation in December, to union the next year.

We transferred every 3 weeks that our first year -- he a Marine on active duty status supposed we moved a great deal! We lived in 4 distinct countries, New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia and California (where I'm to the day).

A lot of our union we pushed to reach the American dream. The union. The home. The children we had a beautiful daughter together. The high paying occupation. The larger home, the ship, then another larger home, one having a swimming pool at a wonderful area.
Every moment, we gathered more stuff.
We completely bought in the trappings of the American fantasy and within 10 years it blew up with all our divorce. That which we constructed, today needed to be broken up, dismantled, or marketed.
How can it possible be well worth all that effort simply to get it vanish before my eyes? All the decades of battle, trying, and compelling, gone from the registering of the divorce decree.
However, the American dream still dwelt inside me. I'd totally bought into that fantasy that I couldn't see any other route to take,
This time there was an extra component I did not have in my first go around.
We Americans have bought in to it.
We have said yes , over and over. We have convinced ourselves that we could control the use of it. However we expand our use of it each and every single day.
What can it be?
Among the largest financial traps we Americans have voluntarily stepped into because we try to get the American dream! That door opened and we walked in!
Actually we walked right into the tune of $13.1 Trillion together with the most significant debt carried from the ages crossing 45 to 64. (Just How Much Debt the Typical American Has.
Difficult to swallow, is not it? The American dream now includes a great deal of debt.
Do not believe it? Well, then, let us see where we have said yes !
We have said yes to greater and greater mortgages because we"outgrow" our smaller houses and purchase bigger and bigger.
We have said yes to credit cards, even over you, with greater and higher credit limits.
We have stated yes and bought to the dream of a great credit score that requires you to be in debt to have one.
We have said yes to automobile rentals which keeps us jammed to auto payments indefinitely.
We have said yes to auto loans because we trade in our automobiles manner prior to the end of the useful lifetime -- to say yes, once again, to a different automobile loan.
The majority of which finishes up in storage, piled up in our houses, or at the landfill.
We have said yes to the usage of retail charge to receive deals and discounts, and rarely pay back the debt until the merchandise is tossed or fresh.
Because the early 70's only rising.2percent each year. (Why Wages Are Not Growing in the United States.)
Yes, really, we have said yes to all this.
You are probably wondering at this stage if it's possible to live the American dream ?
I will indicate that yes, you are able to. A lot people have done thus, learned how to achieve, get, or possess those items we dream about without debt.
To determine you would like to live debt free -- to live life free in the monthly, maybe every day, grind to cover debt.
Who is prepared to do so? Let us jump on that paragraph together! Why don't you find out just how I did it!
