A Part by Part Account of Orchha History

Under the British Raj, the Indian Subcontinent was split into several Vassal countries that were also called as Princely States. Even though these countries had their own native rulers or kings, they have been under the subsidiary alliance with the British Raj. Orchha State was one particular princely state under the Bundelkhand Agency of the British Raj located in present-day Madhya Pradesh. Origins
The Bundela chief, Rudra Pratap Singh created the Orchha State at 1501and reigned since the king before 1531. He constructed the fort in Orchha and changed the funds from Garhkundar into Orchha. Bharatichand was enthroned as another king but he expired without anybody to keep his kingship. Madhukar Shah was his younger brother that succeeded the throne.
Conflicts and conflicts

Union
